This is the part where I tell you I always knew I was going to be a photographer, right?! As a child, I thrived off creativity so I think it came as a surprise that I chose health care as my initial career. While I enjoyed caring for people and getting them back with their families where they belonged, I felt as though something was missing. After my baby boy arrived, the ah'ha moment happened (although my husband totally tries to take credit for it!). I decided to throw the peace sign up at Corporate America, dive face first back into education, and started Sheri Stanley Photography. And let me tell ya - my heart has been so full ever since.
When I'm not photographing adorable families, I'm happily chasing my own toddler around with my 4th grade sweetheart-turned-husband, Jeff, and our circus of fur-babies.
I'm a Florida girl happily living in the Carolinas. You probably won't hear me say "y'all," but I do believe Cheerwine is liquid magic.

My goal is to photograph moments with authentic intention and genuine emotion.
